LEAVES’ EYES “KING OF KINGS” Guest musicians: Elvya Dulcimer

Dear Fans and Friends,

It was a pleasure for us to invite Elvya Dulcimer for the second time to record some enchanting hammered dulcimer parts on the upcoming “King of Kings” album!

“To be able to work with Leaves’ Eyes was a dream come true. It is now the second time that I will participate in one of their albums with the Hammered Dulcimer. My part was recorded in the Orchus Studio in Hilversum, by Fieke van den Hurk. I clearly remember the first time Leaves’ Eyes asked me to record the Dulcimer or one of their albums. It was for ‘Symphonies of the Night’, and I jumped all over the house while screaming, only to return to my pc to type formally that I would gladly cooperate with them. Hopefully one day the Hammered Dulcimer will be heard live on a stage, that would be yet another dream come true!

Elvya Dulcimer”

Elvya plays an quite unknown instrument, called the Hammered Dulcimer. She often collaborates with other artists, like Ayreon and Leaves’ Eyes with her Hammered Dulcimer and voice. Elvya is always searching for new projects and collaborations with artists, and she just recorded her first own album “Untold Stories” with lots of guest musicians, like Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon), Fieke van den Hurk (Cesair), Ivar de Graaf (Kingfisher Sky, ex-Within Temptation), Sjoerd van Ravenzwaaij and Dominique Bentvelsen (Harmony Glen).
